"Change the Rules!" (1)

In this paper, PEAR asks what to do about their empirical data, and rectifies 30 year of exploration with the questions, what now? In light of so much evidence about the breadth and scope of consciousness too compelling to be ignored, and given that it violates already shaky rules of the current scientific paradigm, the answer is simple: change the rules!

If science is to pursue and develop an updated picture of reality, it must expand, disband with, or otherwise reconcil its current paradigm with the experimental evidence coming out of institutions like PEAR. If we are to continue developing our technological and cultural arenas, health care, psychology, and spirituality, to name only a few, must contemplate the pro-active role of consciousness in the establishment of the material world, and the greater depths and complexities to reality.
