Psyleron Perspective

Outside the Laboratory: The Next Stages of Consciousness Research

For decades, the PEAR lab at Princeton University was the exclusive home of continuous basic research into the effects of consciousness on REGs. With the existence of these effects firmly established during the 28-year history of the lab, the next step is to explore the qualities and characteristics of REG effects, in order to pursue practical applications. Psyleron recognizes that such exploration will progress more quickly and effectively with the involvement of a broad community of investigators. Rather than pursuing our research and development in isolation, Psyleron facilitates participation and collaboration with interested users of all walks, and shares discoveries with the public.

Psyleron offers the REG-1 Exploration Kit—the first Random Event Generator and software package widely available to the public. The REG-1 allows users to directly observe their minds' influence on random physical phenomena. Users can conduct professional or amateur experiments, or integrate direct-to-consciousness capabilities into their own software or hardware platforms, public performances, or other demonstrations.

Psyleron operates the Psyleron Community, an online forum for users to interact; share tips, strategies, and experiences; and brainstorm on topics related to consciousness and consciousness technologies. The software package bundled with the REG-1 gives users the option to remotely submit their data to the Community, enabling large-scale analysis of aggregated data. By analyzing the operator data of hundreds or thousands of users, Psyleron will uncover new aspects of the REG-consciousness effect, expanding the frontiers of mind-matter research beyond isolated laboratory conditions.
